Next Steps!

It is going to be an incredible opportunity, so in order to best prepare each of you, we will have a meeting on November 18th at 6pm at Harvest- Lantana (2200 E. Jeter Rd., Bartonville, TX).

At this meeting, we will cover travel timelines, packing lists, and other important items. We will share information about the Beyond the Known ministry that we partner with in Costa Rica and can answer questions about our service projects. You will have the opportunity to meet the chaperones and the students from both campuses; I, personally, am looking forward to this time to be together before our trip.

The following items should be brought to the meeting, if possible. If you do not yet have a passport, please be sure that is your top priority!

  • Waiver and Release (be sure to fill out the correct one for minors vs. students over 18)

  • Parental Consent (must be notarized!)

  • Code of Conduct

  • Permission for Medical Treatment

  • Mission Trip Application

  • Prescription Medication Authorization-if needed (signed by a physician)

  • Permission to Carry OTC Medication- if needed

  • Emergency Medication Self Carry Agreement- if needed

  • Passport

Additionally:

  • We are in need of three parents willing to drive buses to and from the airport on the morning of January 2nd. Please, let me know if you are willing to volunteer.

  • If a student has dietary restrictions, please e-mail me, so that we can begin working with our hosts in Costa Rica on a meal plan.

Thank you for helping make this trip a success!
