At 4:30 A.M., October 25, 2019, on a cold, dark, and rainy morning, the HCA Gym experienced an incredibly energetic environment thanks to our amazing students and families! HCA had the privilege of hosting the CBS 11 Friday morning “Pep Rally“ after HCA Class of 1999 Alum and CBS 11 employee, Alex Giles, helped bring this opportunity to his alma mater. Alex, we cannot thank you enough!
For 2 ½ hours, the Saints were cheering and yelling and demonstrating their pride for HCA! This opportunity gave our school the chance to recognize several of our student clubs, organizations, and sports teams on live television throughout North Texas. We were able to deliver a message that showed off our inclusive school culture and a dedicated school community. YOU BELONG HERE, and that morning we let all of North Texas see the true meaning of that phrase. Great job, Saints!
For a quick overview, the CBS 11 Pep Rally spotlighted 9 different areas within HCA Student Life. From clubs to sports to individual achievements, our student body was well represented. Speaking of, an astounding 76% of our entire student body and an incredible number of parents represented HCA on CBS this morning, including 89% of our high school and 100% of our 4th Grade class!
