Harvest Christian Academy launched the HCA Lantana school campus in August 2020. After an incredible first year in all facets of education and co-curricular programs, the campus experienced growth and a steady rise in community interest. One of the most impressive achievements was the Varsity Football team winning a State Championship in their first year! Without a doubt, this brought excitement and celebration to the HCA Lantana campus. Throughout the year, other sports saw similar success with Varsity Boys Basketball finishing Runner-Up in the State Championship game. In the spring, Varsity Baseball also won their State Championship as a first-year program. This success set a standard and built a foundation for HCA Lantana Athletics.
Fast forward to 2021, the HCA Lantana Varsity Football team returned all of its starters from the Championship team as well as their momentum and confidence from last year. A local news publication for Southern Denton County, The Cross Timbers Gazette, recently published an article about this year's football success. With a record of 9-1, the Lantana Saints are ready to make another run in the playoffs. Read the article about their success and hear from Head Coach Dustin Tarpley on his team's focus and determination this year. GO SAINTS!
